Liebe Leser!

Es geht um die Wurst. Vegetarier und Veganer sollten jetzt bitte weglesen.
Egal, ob als Rote, Thüringer, Nürnberger, Frankfurter, Wiener, Weiß-, Brat-,
Knack- oder Gummiwurst: Tag für Tag werden in hunderttausenden Fällen
unschuldige Tiere getötet, püriert und zusammen mit Kräutern, Gewürzen und
zerhäckselten Mäusen in knackige Därme verpackt. Und anschließend von der
Bevölkerung goutiert. Deutschland ist Wurstland. Der Mensch ist halt kein
Beilagenesser.

Warum wir das hier schreiben? Nun, nur aus dem einzigen,
verabscheuungswürdigen Grund, um auf einen Mörderkalauer hinzuleiten. Denn
auch auf http://www.plattentests.de/ geht's diesmal um die Wurst. Nicht um
Brät oder Kräuter, sondern - festhalten! - um Pelle. Unser "Album der Woche"
stammt diesmal von Pelle Carlberg, jenem Herren, der uns schon mit den ewig
unterschätzten Edson das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen ließ. Ein Album, das
schmeckt wie süßer Senf und garantiert wohl bekommt.

Gammelwurst haben wir zwar diese Woche nicht zu verzeichnen, dafür etliches,
was nicht ganz astrein riecht: der Gothic-Pop von Theatre Of Tragedy
beispielsweise, der ach so öde Kuschelweicheischmachtcore von den Delays,
der gehaltlose Minirock von Liz Phair oder das Für-Fans-Paket von Jonah
Matranga.

Herzhaft reinzuhauen lohnt sich eher anderswo: Sepultura haben auf ihre
alten Tage vielleicht ihr bestes Post-Cavalera-Album vollbracht. Graham
Coxon nascht mehr denn je am Pop. The Kooks bringen sich vielversprechend
als x-tes next big thing in Position. Und auch der Umz-Umz von The Knife,
der Hyperventiliercore von From First To Last, der Tool-Schwenk von
Katatonia oder die ruhigeren Känge von Willard Grant Conspiracy, Devics,
Band Of Horses und Josh Rouse sind äußerst lecker.

An der Stelle verabschieden wir uns ungewohnt früh, weil wir nämlich einen
Bärenhunger haben. Die labbrigen Dinger schwimmen im Kochtopf und sind
beinahe gar. Riesige Bottiche mit Ketchup, Senf, Majo und Meerrettich stehen
bereit. Jetzt bloß nicht im Metapherwahn aus Versehen die genannten CDs
eintunken. Mahlzeit!
