Ausgerechnet Rednex (Urks!) verhindern den Triumph. Mit ihrem "The sad but true story of Ray Mingus, the lumberjack of Bulk Rock City, and his never slacking stribe in exploiting the so far undiscovered areas of the intention to bodily intercourse from the opposite species of his kind, during intake of all the mental condition that could be derived from fermentation". Oder einfach nur für die längsten Songtitel der Welt: "There are a million reasons for why this may not work... and just one good one for why it will".

War "Are we really happy with who we are right now" mehr oder weniger ein spontanes Unterfangen, ist "The red tree" ein Album geworden, das in wochenlanger Tüftelarbeit enstanden ist. Hört man!

Insbesondere im bitter-süßen "Bleed and blister (Version 3)".

Wie viel Potential grundsätzlich in dieser Truppe steckt, wird einem ansonsten vor allem bei Lauscherkontakt von zwei Songs bewußt: den vollen sechs Minuten Zitterpartie von "The day no one needed to know", das ständig zwischen laut und leise wechselt. Und den anderen Beinahe-sechs-Minuten Gänsehaut in "There are a million reasons for why this may not work... and just one good one for why it will", das sich auf einem Geflecht aus Schmuse-Gitarren und Synthie-Streichern hochschaukelt, bis am Ende die Tränchen kullern: "What if this had never happened? / We had never seen the light of day? / What if this had never happened? / We had never met at all?" Oder was?

moneen vs. fall out boy-vergleiche sind übrigens lächerlich.
