The Navajo Water Project is Indigenous-led, and registered as an official enterprise on the Navajo Nation. Es ist eine umfassende Gedichtssammlung mit über 30 Original-Gedichten der gefeierten Sängerin und Songwriterin. Am 02. Oktober erscheint das von Lana persönlich gelesene Hörbuch von “Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass” auf CD, Picture Disc und auf Vinyl und kann ab sofort vorbestellt werden. Die digitale Version ist bereits erhältlich.

Hab mich jetzt mal mit nem Glas Rotwein hingesetzt und es auf mich wirken lassen! Bin beeindruckt und begeistert! Wahnsinn was sie für eine Entwicklung genommen hat! Fühlte mich direkt ein wenig an Jim Morisson erinnert bis er mir dann im Track "Tessa DiPietro" sogar selbst begegnete.
Wieso das jetzt ne 7/10 ist erschließt sich mir aus der eher oberflächlichen Rezension nicht.. aber ein Gedichtband ist natürlich hier ohnehin schwieriger zu bewerten als ein Musikalbum!
