LIFE OF AGONY SIGNS WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH NAPALM RECORDS!
First Details of New Album in Over a Decade Unveiled!

They are one of the most influential bands with one of the most distinctive sounds of the 90's era. A whole decade has gone by since their last album but now, LIFE OF AGONY are finally back!

Brooklyn's hard rock legends LIFE OF AGONY have signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records. LIFE OF AGONY returned to the stage and performed on multiple festival dates in Europe over the summer of 2014. The famed River Runs Red line-up, of vocalist Mina Caputo, guitarist Joey Z, bassist Alan Robert and drummer Sal Abruscato were excited to take the stage together once again after a three-year hiatus. And now the band has come back to stay, as they are about to continue touring the world and release their 5th studio album, the first in over a decade, since 2005's Broken Valley.

Now the band unveiled the first details as well as the cover artwork for their upcoming album, titled
A Place Where There's No More Pain, set to be released on Napalm Records in 2016!

Bassist Alan Robert comments:
"I think our fans know that our music comes from a very real place of suffering, from all of us in the band. Many of our fans have told us over the years that sharing our personal struggles has been cathartic for them in healing the pain in their own lives. That uplifting energy we share at the shows, gives us hope that there's light at the end of the tunnel. And for us and hopefully our fans, that short time when we're all together is a place where there's no more pain."

"Life Of Agony is without a doubt one of the most exciting and energetic Rock bands of our times. It is an honour to work with such talent, we are excited to announce their signing to Napalm Records and release the band's first album after over a decade." states Thomas Caser, CEO of Napalm Records, about the recent signing with legendary LIFE OF AGONY.

Brooklyn hard rock legends LIFE OF AGONY have completed work on their new album and Napalm Records debut A Place Where There's No More Pain. The album will be released April 28th via Napalm Records. After a long wait, it is finally time to unleash the first taste of new music from LOA. Head HERE to check out an exclusive premiere of the title track “A Place Where There’s No More Pain”!

"We have a long history of connecting to our fans on an emotional level through our words and music," says bassist/lyricist Alan Robert."And that's why I think there's something really relevant and timeless about the message behind the title track, 'A Place Where There's No More Pain'. It's about facing your problems head-on in order to find peace within yourself. A topic that really hits home for a lot of our fans struggling with their own demons. The opening line "running away only makes it worse" couldn't be more true, because sooner or later those problems will catch up with you, and when they do, you gotta be strong enough to deal with them."

The track listing for A Place Where There's No More Pain reads as follows:

1. Meet My Maker
2. Right This Wrong
3. A Place Where There’s No More Pain
4. Dead Speak Kindly
5. A New Low
6. World Gone Mad
7. Bag Of Bones
8. Walking Catastrophe
9. Song For The Abused
10. Little Spots Of You

Brooklyn hard rock legends LIFE OF AGONY have completed work on their new album and Napalm Records debut A Place Where There's No More Pain, which will be released April 28th via Napalm Records. Today the first video offering for the album’s title track “A Place Where There’s No More Pain” has been unleashed. The video was directed by Leigh Brooks of Firebelly Films and was shot predominately in Hamburg, Germany with a few shots from the London show on LOA’s recent European tour. Watch the exclusive premiere of the video HERE.

"We were looking to capture the raw energy of our live show with the new video for ‘A Place Where There's No More Pain’, says bassist Alan Robert. "As a longtime LOA fan, Director Leigh Brooks instantly knew exactly what we were going for. He's been a fan since the early nineties and we finally met at the Electric Ballroom gig in London last year. He shot that show and we immediately became friends. He's a super talented guy with great vision and a deep passion for this band. He and his crew got pretty banged up shooting this one (laughs). They got right in the pit with their equipment - the poor guys! Leigh was one of the very first people outside of the band to hear the new music and he was completely psyched to be involved."

LIFE OF AGONY Announce "Rise of the Underground Tour 2018"

New York's LIFE OF AGONY has announced dates for a headlining trek called "Rise of the Underground Tour 2018" spanning the USA and Europe. The shows will begin with two sold-out, hometown warm-up gigs April 18th & 19th at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, and conclude November 2nd as headliners of The Sound of Revolution Festival in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Full list of dates are below.

"With 2018 marking the 25th anniversary of our debut album, we are just so incredibly grateful to our fans for sticking with us all these years and wanted to do something really special for them. We're breaking out some old fan favorites that we've never played before live and hitting cities we haven't been to in over a decade," says bassist Alan Robert. "You really can't beat the crazy energy of a packed, sweaty, tiny club, like we used to play back in the day, so we decided to include some very intimate rooms on this tour, along with the bigger venues, to feel that deep emotional connection again with our die-hard fans. It's gonna be insane."

Joining "Rise of the Underground Tour 2018" as main support during the September US dates will be Silvertomb, the new band featuring Johnny Kelly and Kenny Hickey from Type O Negative. More support acts to be announced soon.

LIFE OF AGONY emerged from the New York music scene in the early '90s with one of the most distinctive sounds in its genre. Best known for its 1993 metal/crossover debut "River Runs Red", the band instantly built a cult following. For over two decades, the group toured relentlessly all over the world, sharing stages with the biggest names in rock, including Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. After the much-praised "Ugly" (1995), LIFE OF AGONY opted for a highly energetic alternative rock approach on "Soul Searching Sun" (1997) and "Broken Valley" (2005) - the latter produced by Greg Fidelman (Slipknot, Metallica). Last year, the group released their 5th studio album "A Place Where There's No More Pain" (2017) to critical acclaim, debuting at #24 on Billboard's Hard Rock Album Chart. LIFE OF AGONY has sold over one million albums to date.
