Der schottische Singer-Songwriter und Folk Musiker "James Yorkston" aus Stratford-upon-Avon, kündigt für den 22.08. das 16. Studioalbum "Songs For Nina And Johanna" an. Es folgt auf "The Great White Sea Eagle" von 2023.
The incoming album is James Yorkston’s sixteenth on Domino, and it represents his third to be recorded in Stockholm. Backing the songwriter throughout are the Second Hand Orchestra, and the title should be taken literally – guest vocalists are Nina Persson (The Cardigans) and Johanna Söderberg (First Aid Kit).
James and Nina are of course old friends, and worked on the critically acclaimed album ‘The Great White Sea Eagle’ together. Johanna Söderberg is something fresh, singing four songs on the record, to Nina’s five.
