Heute veröffentlicht Waxahatchee, die neue Single "Much Ado About Nothing“ via ANTI- Records. Hierbei handelt es um den ersten neuen Song von Katie Crutchfield, seit der Veröffentlichung ihres hochgelobten Albums "Tigers Blood" (2024).

"Tigers Blood" ist eines der von der Kritik am meisten gefeierten Alben des Jahres 2024 und landete auf unzähligen Listen zur Jahresmitte, darunter die New York Times, Associated Press, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly und Rolling Stone, die Crutchfield als „einen meisterhaften Geschichtenerzähler“ bezeichneten.

Anfang des Monats hat Waxahatchee den Albumhit 'Right Back to It' bei den Americana Music Association's Honors & Awards, wo er auch für den Song des Jahres nominiert wurde.
