WE ARE BREAKING UP...SAD BUT TRUE

Okay so we have been keeping this a secret for a while but The Letters Organize are no longer playing music together. There are several reasons and, depending on whom you ask in the band, 4 different stories. But the bottom line is no matter how we forced our band down people throats, no matter how far and long we toured, no matter how many people with played in front of, no matter what was coming up next, no matter who liked us we still felt trapped we still felt like we dug a hole we could not climb out of..... We were Trapped in an awful music scene flooded with overly fashionable scene kids that care nothing about the actual music. Also trapped in a scene with carbon copy bands and terrible music and very very very little honesty (not all but most). We tried to shine through. We tried to be heard. Yes we made mistake in trying but at least we learned from them. We all got ourselves into more debt then you can imagine which took a toll on our hearts, bodies and mind. As much as we loved playing with each other and as great of a band as we thought we were, to throw another record out there and do it all over again seemed (as a whole) one of the hardest task we had come across yet. Some people in the band had no motivation to finish the record and other wanted to never tour again unless it was worth it (what ever that means). So as every good band begins it must end. We are all moving on to new projects and trying our luck at it again, some way some how. So lastly, SORRY and yes we did have the most fun of our lives to date! We will keep you all posted on these updates. WE WILL BE HAVING A LAST SHOW TO SAY GOODBYE. We will keep you all posted on that. We will play everything from the EP to the very rare tonight demo!

THANKS TO EVERY FRIEND WE MADE, EVERY BAND WE MET, EVERY BAND WE TOURED WITH, EVERY FAN WE NEVER MET, EVERY VENUE WE PLAYED, EVERY FLOOR WE KEPT WARM, AND EVERYONE WHO LOVED US.

Nein, dass ist alles andere als gut. Das Album hatte einfach so viele Übersongs (ich sag nur "Matador", "These Words",...) schreibt sollte echt noch ein Album rausbringen.

Waren aber immer zu unbekannt.

Na ja, n paar Leute kennen die schon. Dead Rhythm Machine hatte schon einige ordentliche Brecher zu bieten. Schade drum...

Andererseits ist es auch wieder gut, so wird die Band unsterblich und nie schlechte Sachen veröffentlichen. Ich ziehe meinen Hut und werde die "Dead rythm machine" demnächst mal wieder rauskramen und andächtig lauschen.

"Unsterblich" schön und gut, nur ist es schon schade, dass den Jungs dann wohl nie der große Durchbruch gelingen wird...

Aber dazu muss man auch sagen, ich habe die Dead Rhythm Machine schon eine Million Mal gehört und sie wird immer noch nicht langweilig.

Aber was solls, es ist schon scheiße. Diese ganzen jungen HC-Bands sind sowieso derart kurzlebig, dass man mit mehr als 2 Alben im Vornerein wohl nicht rechnen kann.

Da sieht man Mal wies in ner Band die so geniale Musik gemacht hat aussieht:

THERE WILL NEVER BE A LAST LETTERS SHOW. I'M SORRY!!!!!!!!!!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW. WE HAVE ALL MOVED ON TO NEW PROJECTS AND SOME OF US DON'T EVEN TO TALK TO EACH OTHER ANYMORE. THERE FOR, A COUPLE PEOPLE IN THE BAND REFUSED TO PLAY A LAST SHOW. IF I WANTED TO BE A DICK ABOUT IT I WOULD SAY NAMES AND GIVE YOU THERE EMAILS AND TELL YOU TO TELL THEM YOU WANT TO SEE A LAST SHOW. BUT SINCE THIS HAS BEEN A HAIR PULLING ARM TWISTING BAND SINCE DAY ONE I AM DONE BEGGING PEOPLE TO DO THINGS THEY SHOULD JUST WANT TO DO......
SORRY AND I WISH THINGS WERE DIFFERENT BUT I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THIS.......

Das hab ich wieder nicht mitbekommen.
Hab die Platte gestern gehört. 7/10
Irgendwie lösen sich viele hoffnungsvolle Bands auf.

Vielleicht zu große Egos?
Es gibt aber auch Bands, die streiten sich und kriegen dann trotzdem nur musikalischen Scheiß zusammen. Nicht jedoch diese Gruppe hier.

Richard Ashcroft hat mal so was schwachsinniges gesagt (sinngemäß):"In einer guten Band mögen sich die Leute nicht" Tolle Pauschalisierung.

Ich denke viele Bands verstehen sich und motivieren sich zu immer besseren künstlerischen Leistungen. Nur irgendwann kommt der Punkt an dem ein Konflikt entsteht und man sein Maximum erreicht hat.
Aber lieber so als schlecht zu sein und sich zu streiten oder sich immer mögen weil keiner den anderen kritisieren will, was dazu führen kann, dass nicht das beste aus der Band rausgeholt wird.
