Dieses Album kann einfach nur gross sein, guckt euch das Line-Up an:

Ich habe eigentlich keine Zweifel mehr dran, dass es mein TOP Album in diesem Jahr wird...
Fans von Delerium, Conjure One, Balligomingo und Maplebee sollten voll und ganz auf ihre Kosten kommen!
Um die Zeit zu überbrücken empfehle ich allen Pole Folder - Zero Gold, hervorrangendes Album:

News!!!
I have been lucky enough to hear a sample of the new Sleepthief song
"The Chauffer" feat. Kirsty Hawkshaw (yes, it's a cover of the Duran
Duran song!).
All I can say is WOW!
Justin (aka Sleepthief) was brilliant enough to ask Kirsty to
participate on his album and she has totally come trough once again.
Kirsty is one of those rare artists that never disappoints, and sure
as hell always surprises. Hearing their collaboration I can't help but
get excited about both upcoming releases from these two amazing artists.
If anyone gets a chance, track down the original song which can be
found on the Duran Duran album "Rio". The original is equally amazing
and I can totally see why Justin has chosen to cover it (plus I
believe it is one of his all time favorite songs). For those that will
be listening to the original, while doing so, imagine Sleepthief's
music with one of the most beautiful female voices today and you will
begin to get an idea on how amazing this song will be.
Anyhow, just wanted to let the Sleepthief and Kirsty Hawkshaw fans out
there know that they have even more to be excited about with the
release of Sleepthief's debut album "The Dawnseeker".

Delerium ist die ätherische, dunkle und mystische Seite von FLA, Conjure One die progressive danceartige. Imho must-haves. Balligomingo ist ein Projekt von Garrett Schwarz und zu Maplebee gibts hier nen Thread, da steckt Mel Garside dahinter. However, auf jeden Fall warte ich gespannt auf die Sleepthief...

Caroline Lavelle!!!!! Wunderbar. In welcher Funktion? Als Cellistin und/oder Sängerin? Ihr Soloalbum Ende der Achtziger war grenzenlos schön. Hat auch ihr Mann - Mastermind of Mo' Wax Records - die Hände mit im Spiel?

Ende der 80er? Und ich dachte immer ihr Debut war 1995...sigh
Ich weiss nicht, ob James da die Hände im Spiel hat.
Aber ich hoffe doch mal sehr, dass sie nicht nur Cello spielen wird! ;-)

Nein,, Du hast recht, *95 ist richtig, habe mich vertan. Aber Songs wie "sleep now" sind unübetroffen - gerdezu dahingehaucht (Beth Gibbons hätte ihre Freude daran). Später gab es acts wie Crustration und Statik Sound System, die mich teilweise an diesen fragilen Sound erinnern liesen - zumindest einzelne Stücke. Ich bin gespannt, da mir das vor dir gepostete Projekt bisher nichts gesagt hat. Merci!
