Man könnte die Platte also bestellen und prüfen, ob man bereits rippen kann. Wenn nicht, dann Retour (kein Problem bei Amazon). Für mich lohnt das nicht, da ich bereits bei Bandcamp erworben habe (und Amazon bei Plattenkauf nicht unterstütze)

Wäre mir neu, dass man bei einer Vinyl-Vorbestellung von Amazon standardmäßig den Download vorab quasi geschenkt bekommt. Vielleicht eher über die Homepage versuchen?

saihttam Postings: 2271 Registriert seit 15.06.2013	13.11.2020 - 10:48 Uhr Das mit dem deutlich langweiliger im Vergleich zu den anderen Alben muss ich etwas revidieren. Es funktioniert einfach auf einer etwas anderen Ebene als zum Beispiel Crack-Up. Aber für sich genommen ist das Album durchaus wieder fantastisch. Die Melodien beißen sich fest und bleiben sehr lange im Gehörgang. Und es gibt auch genug besondere, experimentellere Momente. Mein Favorit momentan ist Going-To-The-Sun Road mit diesen schwebenden Cembalo-Klängen und den wunderbaren Bläsern. Die auf Portugiesisch gesungene Coda verleiht dem Song dann noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Insgesamt ist das Album vielleicht nicht ganz so kohärent wie der Vorgänger, aber es wird dennoch wieder weit vorne in meiner Jahresliste stehen.

Aber Pecknold hat wohl bestätigt, dass es bei der ersten Produktionsladung zu dem Fehler gekommen ist. Ob das jetzt nur die Limited betrifft oder alle, weiß ich nicht. Mich persönlich störts auch null. Irgendwie ist es ja cool zu wissen, dass man da so eine kleine "Rarität" erhalten hat. :) Konnte mich nicht zusammenreißen und hab mir die Blue Swirl auch noch bestellt. Verdammt. Bei mir ist auf der zweiten Platte (C-Seite) auch die B-Seite abgedruckt und auf der B-Seite eben analog hierzu die C-Seite. Wenn ihr das also meintet, ist es auch bei mir (keine limitierte Version) genau der selbe Fehler.

Ituri Postings: 385 Registriert seit 13.06.2013	20.02.2021 - 11:04 Uhr Aber zurück zum Album. Tendiere gerade dazu, es als ihr bestes zu titulieren. Ich habe es bei der Veröffentlichung per Auto-Rip gezogen und war zunächst nicht so begeistert, hörte es nur ab und an; und wegen der Kinder nur selten am Stück. Es plätscherte so vor sich hin, wie man so sagt. Jetzt, seit ich die Platte habe, ist es ein Meisterwerk. Ich weiß nicht, woran es liegt, aber ich entdecke schöne Stellen und gleichsam strahlt dieses Album eine Leichtigkeit aus, die ich so nicht erwartet hätte. Lange nicht so verkopft wie Crack-Up (welches auch gut war) und melodisch noch besser als Helplessness Blues. Vielleicht nur mein momentaner, verliebter, früher Eindruck. Wer weiß, ob es anhält. Aber für mich gerade ihr bestes Album.
