Sam Smith ist riesiger Fifth-Harmony-Fan, wie er unter anderem als Gast von James Corden bei Carpool Karaoke eindrucksvoll zur Schau stellte: . Die Kollaboration mit Normani kam eher durch eine Zufallsbegegnung zustande: Sam schrieb im Studio in L.A. mit Stargate und Jimmy Napes an neuen Songs, während Normani nebenan ebenfalls an neuem Material arbeitete. Da die beiden schon lange Fans voneinander waren, hat sich der Rest wie von allein ergeben. „Dancing With A Stranger“ ist die erste Single, die Sam Smith 2019 veröffentlicht, nachdem er zuvor fast ein Jahr lang mit seinem aktuellen Album „The Thrill Of It All“ um die Welt getourt ist. Normani setzte ihre Solokarriere im letzten Jahr intensiver fort, nachdem Fifth Harmonie im März bekannt gaben, eine für unbestimmte Zeit eine Pause einzulegen. Sie veröffentlichte die Single „Love Lies“ mit Khalid, die es bist auf Platz #1 der US-Airplay-Charts schaffte. Außerdem veröffentlichte sie Songs mit Calvin Harris und 6black. Derzeit arbeitet sie an ihrem Solodebüt, ab März wird sie im Vorprogramm von Ariana Grande auf deren Nordamerika-Tour zu sehen sein.

Fresh from the release of ‘My Oasis’, featuring the inimitable Burna Boy, new single ‘Diamonds’ showcases Sam’s unforgettable vocals at their best with a defiant tale of love lived without regret. The video sees direction from previous co-creator Luke Monaghan (How Do You Sleep, Too Good At Goodbyes, Writing’s On The Wall) together, their work has garnered over 2.5 billion streams. Francois Postings: 673 Registriert seit 26.11.2019	13.11.2020 - 22:59 Uhr Mich packts leider nicht... Die ersten beiden Alben waren teilweise richtig guter Scotch vor einem Kamin. Das ist jetzt teilweise Gordons Gin mit Billigtonic in einem Club, wo man sich als Erwachsener falsch fühlt
