Founded by Dublin-born frontman Dave King and fiddle-player Bridget Regan, FLOGGING MOLLY have long been hailed for their compelling lyrics of exile, rebellion, history and struggle told through exuberant anthems with a fierce blend of raucous punk/rock and traditional Irish music. The band has just wrapped up their annual "Salty Dog Cruise" and will be heading to Los Angeles on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th for their "Devil’s Dance Floor" celebration at The Forum with special guests Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Mariachi El Bronx. Flogging Molly kommen mit ihrem neuen Album „Life Is Good“, das „reichlich Pulver für künftige Live-Feuerwerke liefert“, (laut.de) im September für zwei Shows nach Deutschland. Sechs Jahre ließen sich die legendären Folk-Punks aus Irland für ihr neues Werk „Life Is Good“ Zeit. Herausgekommen ist ein typisches Flogging Molly Album – Punk mit traditioneller irischer Musik und Blues. Erste Kostproben konnten sich die Fans dieses Jahr schon beim Hurricane/Southside Festival abholen, wo die Band neben ihren Klassikern auch Songs des neuen Albums präsentierte und bewies, dass sie immer noch in der Lage sind, bühnentaugliche Hits zu schreiben. Flogging Molly bleiben sich treu, ohne auf der Stelle stehen zu bleiben. Anfang September verwandeln Flogging Molly die diesmal exklusiven Venues wieder in Pubs voller Pogo, Schweiß und guter Laune. Tickets sind ab dem 06.07.2017 exklusiv unter eventim.de erhältlich. Ab dem 10.07.2017 auch an allen anderen Vorverkaufsstellen.
