Bisher find ich das alles gut, aber mir fehlt etwas die Stimmung eines "Faith" oder gar "Disintegration". Mir alles zu nett gerade. Robert ging es damals offensichtlich gut. |

Close To Me ist einer meiner Lieblings-Cure-Popsongs. Diese gehauchten Stimmen im Hintergrund als rhythmisches Element sind super. |

Sinking geht am ehesten in die Disintegration-Richtung. Langes Intro, melancholische Stimmung, Steigerung zum Ende. Man wird immer tiefer in den Song hineingesogen. |

Oh, der ist toll. "Mit "Night" mein Favorit des Albums. Ich mag halt die fröhlichen Cure doch nicht ganz so.
Gesamt: 7,5/10. Durchweg gut bis sehr gut, aber baut keine wirkliche Stimmung auf. |

Das ist eine durchwachsene Platte. In Between Days, Close to Me und A Night Like This sind grandios, aber sonst auch viel nur Okayes. Was sie sich bei Screw gedacht haben, weiß ich bis heute nicht, und der Closer ist irgendwie auch nichts. Landet im 7er-Bereich insgesamt. |

Das du den Closer nicht magst, überrascht mich etwas. Passt vielleicht nicht ganz zur Stimmung des Albums, aber baut sich doch wunderbar auf. |

Das Album beeindruckt nicht so stark "im Ganzen" wie manch anderes der Band, sondern mehr als abwechslungsreiche Songsammlung, aus der man auch immer gut mal einen Einzelsong hören kann.
