Vielleicht jetzt mit Album Nummer drei? Track-Review der Band selbst: Crystal Sounds Like riding a wave of pure diamonds, it's one to sweep you up and take you away. We always knew this would be our opening track. The Loneliest Star The first single from the album. A really energetic track, it just roars along from start to finish. Great fun to play too. Home We went through about 3 or 4 different versions of this song, as early on we really couldn't figure out where we wanted the song to go. One of the other versions ended up being used for US tv's Kyle XY. Imagine Life This song, along with a couple of others, features the sound of three of us stamping our feet and clapping in a bathroom. It was a very nice sounding bathroom! Suddenly We actually wrote this song with another artist in mind, and sounds a bit different to the others. But it worked out really well so we decided to keep it! Animals A couple of different ideas that just seemed to fit together really well. It ended up turning into a bit of a giant!! After The Retreat A really old song! Although it now sounds totally different, the concept was born about 7 years ago when we demo'd it in our old rehearsal room (a stable!). I Saw Stars Disappear This song took quite a while to pull together. It's got a really haunting melody, so just had to find the right parts to compliment it. Answer A track that started off as just a rhythm - the beat you hear towards the second half. This is one of our favourites. Out There We really wanted to do an orchestral style piece, and for all our playing around trying things, we already had the perfect song for it! Everything just fell into place really quickly. Ich bin gespannt!

MickHead Postings: 4030 Registriert seit 21.01.2024	21.02.2024 - 19:35 Uhr Das dieses fantastische Album keine Rezension bekommen hat, bleibt mir bis heute ein Rätsel. Auch der Nachfolger "A Strange Encounter", das bisher letzte musikalische Lebenszeichen der Band, hätte eine Topbewertung verdient gehabt. Für mich in der Gesamtheit ein kleines Meisterwerk!
