Joshua Radin's second studio-produced album Simple Times picks up right where 2006's We Were Here left off. He is really cementing himself as one of the best, most genuine up-and-comers on the indie scene today. I'm not breaking any new ground by comparing him to Elliott Smith, but there is definitely a similarity in their wide-eyed authenticity and heart-wrenching honesty. For those who have never heard Radin, this is a great place to start, and for those who have, this might just be his best work to date. Highly recommended.

neues album "the rock and the tide" wieder mal zum vergessen.
er hat einfach kein pulver. die paar richtig schönen melodien vom ersten album und das gehauche sind aufgebraucht. funktioniert nicht mehr in anders. |

Sein neues Album "Underwater" is seit gestern draußen und ich bin echt positiv überrascht. "rock and the tide" war wirklich gähnend langweilig. hatte ihn eigentlich als guter singer/songwriter bereits abgeschieben...
hier aber nun wieder alles etwas sparsamer instrumentiert und nicht so übertrieben aufgewuchtet. der albumtrack gefällt mir schon mal sehr.
