Armin	03.10.2006 - 20:59 Uhr Denison Witmer album release & tour Referred to in Q Magazine as "exactly the man needed to plug the void still left by the death of Elliott Smith" and described in The Sun as "A class act." who "explores big issues, plays great guitar and sings delightfully", Philadelphia based singer/songwriter Denison Witmer is currently on the A7 autobahn en route to his first show in Germany in support of his new album "Are You A Dreamer?". "Are You A Dreamer?" just came out all over Europe, with the exception of France where it's due for release on October 20:th. Featuring long-time collaborator Sufjan Stevens, childhood friend Rosie Thomas and additional guest appearances by The Innocence Mission, James McAlister (Ester Drang) and Shara Worden (My Brightest Diamond), Denison has recorded his most sincere and heartwrenchingly beautiful record yet. And as a special treat the first 2,000 copies of the album is a limited edition version featuring an additional 6-track bonus disc recorded at Mission Hall Studio in Sweden. To support the release Denison has vowed to spend more time in Europe than ever before and what better way to start off than with his most extensive tour yet?! Last Saturday, November 4:th, Denison Witmer turned 30 and instead of playing it safe and inviting his closest friends over for cake and ice cream or beer and potato chips he's inviting the entire world to partake in the celebrations! Right before leaving on his most recent European tour Denison recorded 50 songs in familiar settings - solo acoustic guitar and vocals only. From these he chose 30 of his favorite tracks that can be downloaded for free at www.happybirthdaydenison.com Although full versions of all the songs are available for free, visitors are encouraged to donate money to the charities Denison have chosen.
