So, as many of you may have heard, Hot Water Music has entered a state of-- for lack of better terminology--extremely deep hibernation. We have no foreseeable future plans to write, tour, or record together. That said, we are still releasing the previously mentioned singles compilation on No Idea fairly soon, but don't get your hopes for anything else; it's just not going to happen. Now, on to a much more exciting subject... THE DRAFT... Again, many of you may have already heard that Chris, George, and myself have started a new band called The Draft. This is not a side project, this is our band. The record should see the light of day sometime in early '06. Aside from being holed up in the studio making some magic happen, we'll be spending the time leading up to the release of the record playing as many shows as we can and honing our plans for world domination. We've posted some early demo versions of a few tunes on our Myspace and Purevolume pages which can be found at www.myspace.com/thedraftmusic, and www.purevolume.com/thedraftfl, respectively. Thanks to all of you for your support over the last years and thanks in advance for your continued support. We do not plan to disappoint any of you. Peace, Black The Band: www.hotwatermusic.com |

"Devil In The Shade" ist wirklich sehr gut.

To help everyone start off fresh, we've posted some new songs up on the old myspace. We've also scheduled a bit of a last-mintue show for Jan 14th at the new Orlando venue Will's South with our friends in New Crash Position. Hopefully everyone from the greater Mickey area will be able to make it out. We'll have some more news soon, so keep your ears open. ;) |

Also, das Album kommt ja nun am 12. September. |

Hey, all. Happy Summer Solstice! There have been tons of new developments around DraftHQ, so let's dive on in--First of, let's talk about the album. It has a name, face, and birth date! It's called "In A Million Pieces." The cover looks like the new picture up on the page. We're not sure yet if it's going to be a boy or a girl, but it's popping right out of the oven on the expected and hoped for date of September 12th, 2006. Here is the tracklisiting: 1) New Eyes Open 2) Lo Zee Rose 3) Let It Go 4) Alive Or Dead 5) Bordering 6) Impossible 7) Wired 8) Not What I Wanna Do 9) All We Can Count On 10) Out Of Tune 11) Longshot 12) The Tide Is Out Needless, to say, we're totally psyched that we've got this baby all packaged up and ready to send out to you guys. Now, for those of you who can't wait until Sept 12th, we do have a couple of songs you can get your hands on right now. The "UNSOUND" compilation (Punk-O-Rama redux), released on the day of the beast by Epitaph, has a demo version of "New Eyes Open." Also, Epitaph has also released their summer sampler over at http://www.purevolume.com/epitaphsummersampler, and you can download a rough version of "Lo Zee Rose" for your listening pleasure. Also, don't forget you can check out a clip of our version of The 'Mats "Little Mascara," which is coming out on the "We Will Inherit The Earth" tribute on 1234go! on October 13, right here http://www.wellinherittheearth.com/. Finally, we're rocking some live shows. First up is our 1st anniversary show here in Gville at Common Grounds on July 4th. It's hard to believe it's already been a year since our first show, but seeing as how we've managed to tour both coasts and Brazil, and make a record, I think we're cruising along just fine. Following that and a few more Florida shows we're working out the details for right now, we'll be hitting the road for our record release supporting our very, very fine and lovely friends, The Lawrence Arms. The dates will be posted here as they are confirmed. I think that's it for now. We're finalizing some plans for the rest of the fall right now, so we should be seeing all of you by the end of the year (we hope). Take care and enjoy the summer!!!! Peace, Black PS--Go buy "The Gold Record" right f*cking now!

Band : THE DRAFTAlbum : In A Million Pieces VÖ : 08.09.2006 Label : Epitaph / SPV HOT WATER MUSIC war früher; THE DRAFT ist jetzt. Verdammt gut. |

AFT, THE - TOURDATEN / NEUES MP3================================================== HOT WATER MUSIC war früher; THE DRAFT sind jetzt.

So.
