eigentlich sollte mal jeder in mehrere oasisalben reinhören. neulich hatte ich mit nem typen zu tun, der hielt oasis für eine luschengruppe, die schwule musik macht. allerdings:auf dei frage, ob er außer wonderwall IRGENDWAS von denen zu kennen vermag, mußte er passen. und so geht es überraschend vielen menschen, die über diese band(vor)urteilen. aber diese sind auch relativ schnell umzustimmen, wenn sie mehrere songs kennen hihi |

Die B-Sides des aktuellen Albums sind wirklich Schrott. Bei "Sittin here in silence" kann man nicht nur auf Grund seiner Kürze unmöglich von einem Lied sprechen. |

Sotsog: Who feels love, Gas Panic, Roll it over?

Sind geile Songs. Sotsog ist wie Noel schon sagt nicht radikal genug. Als Gurken empfinde ich nun nicht die üblichen verdächtigen, nein das sind knorke Rocker. Eher so ein Müll wie Sunday Morning Call oder Where did it all go wrong. |

Geschmack hin oder hör, aber wie kann mann bitte "better man" mit "wunderbar" in einen Satz unterbringen? Das ist so ein richtiger 08/15 hau drauf Rock der einfach gar nix kann. So was gabs mehr als 1000 Mal in der Geschichte des Rocks. Und dazu die Lyrics, o-h m-e-i-n G-o-t-t. ;) |

aber der anchteil ist, dass in dieser 2. sammlung unmengen von nölsongs der selbn und immer wieder derselben machart druff sind. nachdenkliches mitdreissigergesummse halt. nicht unbedingt schlecht, aber auf die dauer am stück könnten solche songs wie idlers dream, shout it out loud etc.. schon ein wenig anöden. die songs für sich sind klasse, aber aneinandergereiht, das wird grenzwertig. eben nicht mehr so spritzig wie der erste masterplan |

"Stop The Clocks" im November 2006.
Hoffentlich auch dann mit dem besten Oasis Song, den Noel je geschrieben hat, nämlich "Stop the clocks". Würde zumindest logisch erscheinen, meisstens haben ja solche Best-Ofs eine exklusive Single zu bieten.

"Going nowehere" ist wirklich groß. Aber eh alle B-Seiten von denen. Bei "Be here now" noch besonders "The fame", "My sister lover" und ähm.... scheiße... der eine Name fällt mir nicht ein. Liam singt da immer "As you saw... on the breeze (?)" und irgendwann dann Noel sowas we "It's got me on my knees." |
