Machina: Aranea Alba Editio is a box set by American alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. It was released as an octuple vinyl box set in October 2025, after some delays in production, via the website of Billy Corgan's Madame Zuzu's tea shop.

Ich höre da grad mal bisschen rein (wobei ich nun auch schon eine Stunde dabei bin) und hab ziemliche Jahr 2000-Flashbacks. :D Und nun endlich mal "Home" in gutem Klang. Fantastisch. Bei "Slow dawn" geb ich Healthewhell im MACHINA 2-Thread recht: ist nicht wirklich besser im neuen Mix. Aber ich bin grad voll drin. Was auch "Untitled" für ein geiler Song ist. Damit hätte man die Karriere schon echt gut beendet gehabt. ;)

Tja, und dann gibt es sowas nur auf Vinyl und scheißteuer. Aber vielleicht kommt ja noch was.

Wahnsinn dieser Output damals. Viele Perlen dabei, die acoustic demos.find ich auch toll.
Mein absoluter highlight ist 'One Moment'. Zwar ne unfertige Demo, aber der songs hat wunderbare hooks, tpische corgan melodies und lyrics. Traumhaft.
Hab zwar die vinyls gekauft, sehr teuer, jedoch gibt anscheinwnd auch schon rips und downloads.

Höre mich immer mehr rein. Da sind schon ein paar schöne Sachen dabei, allerdings verlieren auch ein paar Songs im neuen Mix (besonders die von MACHINA I). Auch hätte ich mir von "Saturnine" und paar anderen die echt MACHINA II-Version in guter QUalität gewünscht. Nun ja.
Was mir wieder auffällt: Wie gut ist eigentlich "Untitled"? Das war schon ein super Abschluss damals... |
